Making Ollie a little more homey!

When we first got Ollie (our current fifth wheel), we did a few things to make it feel a little more homey, but there was one more thing we wanted to add.

Like most RVs, the interior is very neutral colored. We love the brown and grey colors, but wanted to add something to brighten it up. The kitchen island is sort of a focal point since it’s so big and sadly it was a little dull looking. We have seen pictures of people that paint the island to brighten it up, be we really didn’t want to do that.

So, we thought this might be a great spot for a picture (a very large picture!). It took us a long time (2 years!) to find the picture we wanted, but we finally did. This is a shot we took this past summer in California along the 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach. The tree is called The Lone Cypress, is over 200 years old, and is the logo of the world famous Pebble Beach Golf Resort. We sent the digital image to BayPhoto and had it printed on metal.

We think it looks great and really brightens up the inside of the rig!
