If you know us at all, you probably know that we hate winter! So how is it that, after being in the Denver area for the hottest summer in 20 years, we are also here for the earliest snowfall in 20 years?!?!?
On Sunday the high was 101, Monday the high was 93, and by Tuesday it was in the 30s with snow!! When we went full time one of our goals was to never see another snowflake again – oh well, we made it a year and a half! Don’t feel too bad for us, though, this weekend the highs are supposed to be in the 70s with lots of sunshine, and the snow gave us an excuse to stay inside and make coffee drinks!!

Oh, and remember the original view from our front door? That was then, this is now!

Well, y’all wanted adventure!!!
We certainly got one too!
Total random thought. I say either move or cut the 5 saplings down. Next time you go there (assuming you may one day) the scenery will be obstructed 🙁
As always… Great Pics!
LOL – if those saplings finally manage to grow, (was trying to keep them alive all summer) – they’ll block the view of the $500K houses going up across the road! If we come back, we might try to get a site facing the lake instead.
Oh well. Just verified why you should stay south, or make those “coffee” drinks. Have fun.
Heading south Sunday morning! Well, west first, thru Utah THEN south to Mesa, AZ! Many more coffee drinks coming though! And some Captain!
